Our purpose
Our mission
To direct charitable funding towards organisations delivering thoughtful, practical support for people facing displacement, disability, domestic violence or the challenge of moving away from crime.
The Trust’s social funding is focused on North East England and Central Scotland. Alongside this work, a small number of grants are made for the restoration of architecturally important churches.
We aim to make our purpose and areas of interest easy to understand. Organisations considering an enquiry should review the current guidance and contact the Trust before submitting detailed material.
